Chocolate doesn’t have a huge selection of bags; but there are many different styles and colors, each with unique details that make them special. As I was looking through my current handbag collection, I noticed all my bags were either tan, brown, and black – pretty boring. Chocolate has so many fun colored bags, I knew I wanted something more interesting then tan.

I choose the mauve and chocolate 55755 satchel.

I love the colors used in this bag. Mauve is an unusual purse color, but it is so beautiful and a great color for fall. The synthetic leather is very smooth and has a shiny finish. I have never seen a real leather bag with such a slick sheen, so in that regard, the synthetic leather is not very realistic.

Specifics:

This satchel is a medium size and a nice change from the gigantic, black hole bags.

The handle on the bag is small but it comes with a removable shoulder strap.

When it comes to handbags, everyone wants to know about the pocket situation. This satchel has a double pocket feature that I have not seen before.

This picture shows the dual pockets, both zippered, with a separate pocket in between. There is two additional pockets on the other side as well.

Navoh is a fairly new company, launched in 2010, specializing in trendy and affordable handbags. At this point, I am beginning to consider myself somewhat of a handbag collector. I enjoy hunting for special bags to add to my collection. Navoh definitely offers something new.

The cool mint color of the Lauren bag stood out to me, and I liked the slouchy shape. What I didn’t realize is just how large this handbag actual is. For me, it’s too large to comfortably use as an everyday purse (I kept losing everything in its vast interior). It is great for an overnight bag or carry-on luggage. The lining is my favorite aspect of this bag; the bright flowers are so fun.

The Miche handbags are an awesome solution for women, like me, who love bags. They allow us the luxury of  never having to change purses yet still have a completely new look whenever we want.

How does it work – Choose one base bag and then easily attach any of the Miche magnetic shells. When you want to switch the look of your bag, just remove the shell from the base bag and add a new one.

Miche Bags are great because:

• Handbags take up a lot of space. The Miche shells are flat; you can have many of them in a small area.
• Buying multiple Miche shells are cheaper then buying multiple handbags.
• You don’t have to transfer all of your belongings whenever you change purses.

Miche Bag – a 3 step process

Step 1: choose a base bag

The base bag comes in three sizes: Big Bag, Classic, and Mini. I choose the Mini bag which measures 4″(wide) x 8″(long) x 6″(tall). I don’t have any other handbags this small, and I really like it. I am always losing things in my big purses. The handle on this bag is a little short for my taste (11.5 ” drop), but I do like the chain detail.

Step 2: choose a magnetic shell

Miche offers many different shells for each size bag. My favorite mini bag shell is the Liz. It’s so elegant with the black, velvety flowers.

Step 3: attach shell to base bag

This is the fun part. Lay your shell flat with the design facing down. Set your base bag in the center of the shell. Lift the shell’s sides, and they will be magnetically drawn into place. Once the shell is on, you won’t be able to see that it is removable. Love that!

The Classic Bag – The Classic Bag is just that, classic. It is the perfect shape and color to use everyday. The fabric is coated canvas with leather accents and the inside features a bright blue lining. I found this handbag to be durable and easy to care for. The dimensions for the Classic Bag are 12.5″L x 7″W x 8″H.

Wallet and Accessories - I also received the matching wallet and 2 charms and 2 scarves to accessorize my handbag. Parazul offers many charms and scarves on their website to create your own designs.

Here is a close-up of the beige leather wallet. It has five open pockets and one zippered pocket. There is also an id window and 9 pockets for credit cards. This is a slim and classy wallet, and I love the Parazul signature blue lining.

amykathryn specializes in handbags that combine custom printed fabrics with faux leather. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the design as well; I love the size and placement of the pockets and compartments. The result are gorgeous bags that are unique in their beauty, quality, and functionality.

When I saw the Gladiola Lavender bag, I was so excited. I am drawn to bright colors and especially love purple. This bag really suits my style. It’s hard to see the flowery purple fabric in the first picture, so I included a picture from the website as well.

Pros:

• Love the colors! The combination of purple, creamy yellow, and dark blue, is beautiful.
• The faux leather is very realistic and appears durable.
• Can be washed by hand.
• Comes with an additional, removable shoulder strap.
• Lots of pockets: 4 separate outside pockets, large zipper pocket, 4 mesh pockets, and 3 pen holders.
• Can be used as a purse or diaper bag.
• Good size – I am a music teacher and have to carry tons of stuff to class everyday. This bag can fit everything I need.

Cons:

• Pricey. The Gladiola Lavender bag sells for $99.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed the handles on my purse were starting to look pretty ratty. I figured I’ve had this bag a couple of years; it’s been a good run. Time for a new one! I’m am very excited for spring and wanted something bright and flowery. The Spring/Summer collection at Nicole Lee is just what I was looking for. Stripe Flower Hobo Bag in Camel

The bag is faux leather. I really like floral pattern peeking out from behind the slats on the front. The studding along the sides is beautiful as well, a nice contrast against the feminine flowers. View this bag at the Nicole Lee website.

The back has a medium sized, zippered pocket.

I also like that it’s a nice size. I’m a music teacher and carry a lot of little things around to my lessons. This bag is the perfect size to carry everything I need, yet not so big that it’s cumbersome.
