I have always loved the classic, feminine look of pearls, but for some reason I only had one pair of pearl earrings. So as I was looking through Silverloops, an online jewelry shop, I was excited to find the lovely Triple Strand Freshwater Pearl Bracelet.

Silverloops features very affordable sterling silver, cubic zirconium, colored gemstones, onyx and fresh water pearl jewelry. They carry anklets, bracelets, earrings and necklaces for both women and girls.

First impressions are important, and I have had some mixed experiences when ordering jewelry online. I was happy to see the quality and style was well represented on the Silverloops website. I was also glad it came in an attractive gift box, great for storing or gift giving.

The bracelet itself is made with three rows of white, pink, and lavender pearls strung on delicate silver chains. It measures 6″ with a 1.5″ extender chain and closes with a lobster clasp. This is a great piece for everyday; it’s simple and goes with anything.

Right now I am wearing my wedding ring set, a watch, earrings and a necklace; they are all made with CZ’s (imitation diamonds). I love CZ jewelry because they are way cheaper then real diamonds and can look identical if done right.

Having been around the block, so to speak, with imitation diamonds, I was intrigued by a new process of creating a realistic CZ. The veneer diamond is essentially a CZ stone with a dusting of real diamonds on the outer layer. Say Hello Diamonds, is the leading source for diamond dusted jewelry. They have some very lovely pieces, almost all under $200.

The Pantinas

The classic studs below are the Pantinas earrings, the top seller at Say Hello Diamonds. These earrings are quite large at 2 CTs a piece.  I have worn the Pantinas every day; they are gorgeous and very sparkly.

The most important question when talking about faux diamonds is, “Are they realistic?” I think the Pantinas are a very good imitation, but not identical. When I compared my real diamond ring side by side with the Say Hello diamond, the CZ stone seemed much clearer and brighter. Real stones have flaws, but the faux diamonds were perfect; this made them seem a little unnatural. So, while they may not be identical, these CZ stones are very lovely.

Review

Lately, I have been finding the value in owning statement necklaces. This special accessory stands out and has the ability to transform an outfit, quite an accomplishment for a piece of jewelry.

As I was browsing through the Poshlocket online store, the Flo necklace caught my eye. This dazzling v shaped gold necklace is gorgeous, and I love it’s glitz. Even through I don’t live in Vegas anymore (the center of all things flashy), I thought this would be the perfect piece to spice up my wardrobe.

The gold works as a neutral, so I found that I was able to easily incorporate this necklace into many different ensembles. It looks just as good paired with a casual outfit as a more formal one.

Overall, I enjoy the Flo necklace. It is one of Poshocket’s more expensive pieces ($49) but, as I said, it is versatile and will get plenty of use.

Berricle began with the goal to create the most customer friendly online jewelry store. They specialize in high quality silver and cubic zirconia jewelry.

More and more lately, I have been loving sterling silver/CZ jewelry. It can look very similar, and in some cases identical, to the more expensive white gold/diamond combinations. The price ,however, is so much more affordable. Berricle has a huge selection of gorgeous pieces, almost all of which are under $100.

Review

In honor of the upcoming winter season, I was given the Snowflake Necklace for review. The necklace arrived in a black, velvet jewelry box.

I love all the CZ diamonds which accent this beautiful snowflake design. There are 20 princess cut stones weighing a total of 1.8 carat plus 24 round, cubic zirconia stones weighing a combined .36 carat. These gorgeous CZ’s are perfect for a snowflake motif; they remind me of sparkling new snow.

I also like the size of the pendant. It is large enough to be visible, yet not overwhelming. Measurement: 1.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.

The Snowflake Necklace comes with a chain. It is the basic type of silver chain that often accompanies pendants. It is thin, but looks good and does it’s job.
