Review

I chose the 6 Carat Blue Topaz & Genuine Diamond Filigree Bracelet in 18K Gold Over Silver for review.

When I first opened the gift box, I noticed the thin, delicate quality of this bracelet. The clear blue Topaz stones, and the silver with 18K gold overlay (the underside is gold and the top is silver) make this a beautiful piece of jewelry.

The clasp is a unique design, one end slides into the other and then you flip down a latch. I usually have a hard time closing clasps with one hand, but this is fairly easy to secure. When taking it off, the clasp does stick a little and I worry that it will eventually break.

Price – This particular piece of jewelry is no longer availbale on the Shadora website, so I am not sure of the price. I believe it was in the $20 range.

Buy – Visit Shadora’s online shop an check out their current jewelry deals.

Spa for Ma Sponsor – Sterling Silver Jewelry Gallery

MeasuringFlower.com is a blog for frugal moms who love their families! Discover tried and true recipes, menu plans, frugal tips, couponing, awesome reviews and giveaways, and much more creativity for everyday!

The next sponsor for the Spa for Ma giveaway event is one of my favorites, Sterling Silver Jewelry Gallery. They specialize in all kinds of beautiful and affordable sterling silver jewelry.

Review

I browsed through the Sterling Silver Jewelry Gallery online shop and choose the 925 Sterling Silver 3-piece Pave Setting Wedding Ring Set.

This interlocking 3 piece ring set is sterling silver with rhodium plating. Each ring has 14 CZ stones. It was shipped in a black velvet ring box, great for storing or gift giving.

I was very pleased with the weight and quality of these rings. The intermixed pave and prong settings of the CZ stones and the interlocking ring design is beautiful and subtly creative. It is also comfortable to wear. The ring’s sides are slim and smooth and do not rub adjacent fingers. To keep costs low, the stones are cubic zirconium. However, since they are small, it is hard to identify them as CZ’s. To my eyes this looks like a much more expense piece. My only problem with this set is the rings are difficult to keep fitted together on my finger. Overall, I believe this set is definitely worth the $45 price tag.

Buy/Win

Buy – Visit Sterling Silver Jewelry Gallery online shop and look through their selection of sterling silver engagement rings, wedding sets, fashion rings, bracelets and necklaces.

Win - Come back on August 18th, and enter to win a piece of jewelry from Sterling Silver Jewelry Gallery and other great prizes!

Zevia Soda Review

Zevia All Natural Soda

About the company (taken from www.zevia.com) – ZEVIA is the first all natural zero calorie soda. With only pure ingredients, ZEVIA contains none of the chemically processed artificial sugar substitutes, artificial flavors or artificial colors found in other diet sodas. ZEVIA is all-natural, has zero calories, zero net carbs, zero fat, and little or no sodium (depending on flavor).

Zevia Soda comes in 7 flavors: Cola, Root Beer, Twist (lemon-lime), Orange, Black Cherry, Ginger Ale, and Dr. Zevia.

Ingredients (all info. is taken from www.zevia.com):

  • Stevia - An herb in the sunflower family. It’s called “sweet leaf” by native Americans of Paraguay and Brazil.
  • Erythritol – Natural sugar alcohol found in fruits and vegetables.
  • Natural Caramel – The cola and ginger ale are colored with natural carmel.
  • Natural Tartaric Acid – An acid found naturally in foods such as grapes and bananas is used in the cola instead of phosphoric acid (used in most sodas on the market).
  • Citric Acid – Citric acid is found in citrus fruits such as oranges and is used in all 7 Zevia flavors.
  • Kola Nut Extract – Natural kola nut extract is from a tree in Central and Western Africa. It is used to flavor the Zevia cola.
  • Natural Caffeine – Instead of artificially produced caffeine, the caffeine in Zevia comes from coffee, tea, and the kola nut.
  • Annatto -Zevia’s orange soda is colored with annatto, from the achiote tree.
  • Ginger Root - Zevia’s ginger ale is flavored with ginger root extract.

My Take

After reading about Zevia and its simple, all-natural ingredients, I was excited to see how it tasted. I tried the black cherry soda first, and I thought it was really good.  I noticed that it wasn’t as sweet as other sodas, which was nice. It also had a great crispness and flavor . My husband tried the Cola and he did not like it at all (He is a very picky soda drinker and only likes Coke). Yay! I got the whole case of soda to myself.

After trying all 7 flavors, my favorite was the orange and my least favorite was the cola. I have really enjoyed Zevia Soda; it is a great natural alternative to other sodas.

To Buy: You can buy Zevia online or in stores (visit their store locator to find a store near you).

Win: Zevia is offering 3 US Let’s Win! readers the chance to try Zevia for themselves. Visit the Zevia Giveaway post to enter.
