I have always loved the classic, feminine look of pearls, but for some reason I only had one pair of pearl earrings. So as I was looking through Silverloops, an online jewelry shop, I was excited to find the lovely Triple Strand Freshwater Pearl Bracelet.
Silverloops features very affordable sterling silver, cubic zirconium, colored gemstones, onyx and fresh water pearl jewelry. They carry anklets, bracelets, earrings and necklaces for both women and girls.
First impressions are important, and I have had some mixed experiences when ordering jewelry online. I was happy to see the quality and style was well represented on the Silverloops website. I was also glad it came in an attractive gift box, great for storing or gift giving.
The bracelet itself is made with three rows of white, pink, and lavender pearls strung on delicate silver chains. It measures 6" with a 1.5" extender chain and closes with a lobster clasp. This is a great piece for everyday; it's simple and goes with anything.

Taylor Nail Vernis – First of all, I love the bottles these varnishes come in; the sleek design and heavy glass make them seem extra special.
Taylor is a cool, periwinkle. This was a new color in my collection, and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I had a horrible time applying this polish; it was too thick and sticky. I tried using less, but that was even worse. I am not a novice when it comes to applying nail polish, and I really gave this one a good try. I was left with a messy, uneven mani and immediately took it off.
Maya Nail Vernis – Maya is a beautiful pink, shimmering shade. I was a little apprehensive after the Taylor fiasco, but this varnish went on very smoothly. It did tend to streak, but as long as I used even strokes the results were lovely. Also, the color was so opaque it looked great after only one coat.
Glow On Age Defying Hand Brightener - The Hand Brightener was the highlight of my Julep Maven Box. It is said to minimize the appearance of fine lines and age spots while adding a radiant glow and evening skin tone. While I don't have wrinkles and age spots, I love this product because it smells great and leaves my skin so soft. My hands are always dry, so I have been using this a lot. The Glow On Age Defying Hand Brightener normally sells for $32 alone, so buying the kit is a great deal!

The Fever Mid-Rise Bell Bottom from Genetic Denim has the simple, sophisticated style I love. The dark wash is flattering and the denim is so soft and comfortable.
Fit:
The Fever comes in sizes 23 to 29 (I am wearing the 28), and fits true to size. They have a 35″ inseam, which is very long. In this picture, I had already hemmed them 2.5″ and was wearing 3″ heals.
This is the classic bell bottom; fitted through the thighs all the way to the knees before flaring.
The rise is perfect. Sitting a few inches below the belly button, they are high enough that you can bend over without worry yet are still flattering. The best part, I had no waistband gap!
Material:
The denim is thin and so soft. They are very easy to wear and stay fairly wrinkle free. I love the deep indigo shade and the slight fading on the thighs.
Cost:
Jeans from Genetic Denim are definitely “investment pieces.” The quality is superb, and you pay for it; at around $200 a pair, they are expensive.
