The other day, I was painting white tips using clear tape as a guide. While painting away, I had the idea to use the same technique to create a colorblock look. I am excited because this technique is really easy. Usually, nail art + me = disaster, but my two toned nails turned out pretty good!

Supplies:

• tape
• two colors of polish
• top coat

Step 1

Choose a polish and paint your nails like you normally would.

Let nails dry.

Apply second coat of the same color.

Let nails dry for several hours.

Step 2

Press on a small piece of tape; half the nail should be covered.

Step 4

Paint second color on exposed half of nails.

Let dry for 10 minutes or so.

Carefully remove tape.

And you are done!
